Teen Book Talk

Maybe we'll feature a title that's more fun than a classic. Perhaps it will be an older, but still solid and entertaining one. Either way, in the Teen Book Talk, which meets the fourth Thursday of the month at 3:30 PM, we have good discussion and free, thematic snacks for taste.

For example, when we featured the book Life of Pi by Yann Martel, the main character being Indian and the setting partially in India, we talked away to the flavor of curried lentils, naan (Indian flatbread), mango lassi, and chai tea.

Good company, good eats, and good discussion to celebrate good books.

The Teen Book Talk is open to teens ages 13-18 and meets the fourth Thursday of the month at 3:30 PM. For details, give us a call in the children's department at (304) 267-8288 and ask for Erin or Hannah.
